About Sunshine Car Wash
Located at 246 N Tamiami Trail, Osprey, FL 34229, Sunshine Car Wash operates as a self-service car wash serving Osprey in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Osprey, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Florida, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
Its Google rating stands at 3.3 out of 5 from 157 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Do not use this car wash. I paid for the $5 self wash with my debit card, used the machine for no more than 5 minutes and a $10 hold was placed on my account. When the charge cleared my bank I was charged $19.25. This place is a ripoff, do not go here!

Terrible! I used a card and was charged 25$ for a 4 min self wash. The advertised price is only 5$….what a scam!!!

Generally, this car wash is OK, but today, December the 11th 2025, the machine quit while I was washing and the truck was full of soap and then the car wash quit had to pay again to try to drive unrinsed, but the quail washed quit again period then I had to go to the hand wash and wash the soap off. So I could see to drive home, which was another dollar. So hopefully I can get in contact with the owner , but I don't see a phone number to get reimbursed.

Generally, this carwash is OK but today, 4 August at 11:50, it has no water. There was no sign or warning so I put my money in as usual. Of course, it did not work, the money was not returned, and it was no one to refund the money or number to call to express my concern. Buyer beware!!

Be careful and check your receipts. I went to the $5 wash and paid with my credit card. A later check revealed I was charged $10. There is no way to contact a company representative so I'm out $5. It won't happen again because I won't go back there.

To the owner, The lawn service you hire at your car wash, AC green’s lawnscape is extremely disrespectful of your customers. Was there last week, washed my car, the workers were blowing dirt in the parking lot all over the area and getting on the cars. When asked to stop, they were nasty to your customers. You should fire them all!!! Plus, they are not listed on any sites. Try finding someone local and that are respectful individuals.

The wash equipment is well maintained and the facility is very clean. I have a truck and pull a box trailer with all of my tools, the bay were more than adequate to wash both.
